The webinar entitled “Thailand and the United Nations: 75 Years of Cooperation”, co-hosted with the United Nations Association of Thailand, was held to commemorate the 75th Anniversary of Thailand’s Membership to the United Nations. The Chairman of the United Nations Association of Thailand, Dr. Manaspas Xuto, gave the opening remarks. Sihasak Phuangketkeow, Former Permanent Secretary for Foreign Affairs, gave a keynote address on
“Thailand’s Multilateral Diplomacy: Past, Present and Future”. A panel, consisting of General Jerdwut Kraprayoon, M.L. Dispanadda Diskul and Dr. Suwit Wibulpolprasert, gave insights and views on Thailand’s global cooperation with the United Nations in the field of peace and security, sustainable development and global health.
