The International Studies Center held the first meeting of the Focus Group on “Soft Power: Thailand's Strength in Foreign Affairs in the 2020s” on 28 April 2022 at Meeting Room 1, International Studies Center. The Focus Group’s task is to discuss the concept and its application in the context of Thai foreign policy and to suggest policy recommendations on this issue. This first meeting revisited the concept by examining its definitions and applications and set the parameter for subsequent discussions. Participants included policymakers, scholars, and the media.
