The International Studies Center (ISC) and the Faculty of Political Science and Public Administration, Chiang Mai University jointly organised the 2nd seminar on "Foreign Affairs through the People's Lens" at Learning Space, Faculty of Political Science and Public Administration, Chiang Mai University on 19 February 2025.

During the opening session, Asssociate Professor Dr. Pailin Phujeenaphan, Dean, Faculty of Poltical Science and Public Administration delivered the opening remarks. The remarks was followed by a special talk on "Thailand's Foreign Affairs: Continuity and Change" by Dr. Anuson Chinvanno, Director of ISC.

At the event, two speakers, namely Associate Professor Dr. Jittipat Poonkham, Faculty of Political Science, Thammasat University and Assistant Professor Dr. Wannapa Leelasiri, Head, School of International Studies, shared their views on changing global landscape and emerging issues in foreign affairs from the national and local perspective. The session was moderated by Dr. Krongkwan Traitongyoo, ISC Senior Analyst. It was followed by a discussion among participants who raised many issues to the situation pertinent in the north of Thailand.

The event was attended by participants from the government organisations, scholars and students from Chiang Mai University.
