On 11 June 2026, the ISC organised the 4^th meeting of its “Brown Bag Series” on “Local Perspectives on Foreign Affairs through Narut’s Eyes”. During the session, Dr. Narut Charoensri, Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Political Science and Public Administration of Chiang Mai University shared findings from the book “Revisiting and Advancing Thailand’s Foreign Policy toward the Indo-Pacific Strategy: A Regional Perspective” (supported by the Konrad-Adenauer Stiftung Thailand Office) that he edited and co-authored with scholars from Khon Kaen University, Prince of Songkla University Pattani Campus and Walailuk University. He also exchanged views on ways to enhance understanding of foreign affairs among local people. The information discussed during the session was useful for officials and practitioners to understand local dynamics and context for foreign affairs.
