On 22 January 2020, the Roundtable heard key success of the 2019 Thai ASEAN Chairmanship as observed by Dr. Suriya Chindawongse, Director-General of ASEAN Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and exchanged views on various regional issues involving ASEAN, South China Sea and the Mekong.
