The International Studies Center held an online meeting with Spain’s Casa Asia on 9 May 2022. This introductory meeting was arranged as a follow-up to the discussion between the Spanish Charge d’Affaires in Bangkok and the Director of ISC, as well as the on-going discussion between Casa Asia and the Royal Thai Embassy, Madrid.

            The meeting was attended by Snr. Javier Parrondo, Director General, and Mr. Ángel Aranguren, Executive Advisor, Casa Asia, and on the Thai side by Dr. Anuson Chinvanno, Director of ISC, as well as Mrs. Thitiporn Chirasawadi, Director of Devawongse Varopakarn Institute of Foreign Affairs.

            The participants exchanged views on possible future collaborations, especially Casa Asia's proposal to establish a Forum (Tribuna) between the two institutions.
