On 29 September 2022, the International Studies Center together with the Mekong Cooperation Unit, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, co-organised a seminar on “Synergised or Centralised: ACMECS as Connector of Mekong Sub-Regional Architecture” at the Sukosol Hotel. Four speakers, namely Dr. Aat Pisanwanich, Director, Center for International Trade Studies at University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce, Mr. Panitarn Pavarolavidya, Deputy Secretary-General, Federation of Thai Industries, Ambassador Damrong Kraikruan, former Thai Ambassador to Lao PDR, as well as Dr. Romyen Kosaikanont, Director, SEAMEO-RIHED, shared their views on the issue. The seminar was attended by participants from various educational institutions, government agencies, the business sector, and the civil society.
