On 25 July 2023, H.E. Mr. David Daly, Ambassador of the European Union to Thailand, visited the ISC to meet with Director Dr. Anuson Chinvanno. The Director briefed the Ambassador on ISC’s history, mandates, and activities. They exchanged views on international cooperation and research in foreign affairs and the role of think tanks in Thailand and the region. They also discussed developments in Thailand as well as EU's policies and regulations to deal with climate change, such as the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) and the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR).
