Director of ISC, as well as Ambassador Vosita Vorasaph, Ambassador of Thailand to Spain, Ms. Krongkanit Rakcharoen, Director-General of Department of European Affairs, Ms. Thitiporn Chirasawadi, Director of DVIFA and Associate Professor Dr. Jittipat Poonkham, Associate Dean for International Affairs, Faculty of Political Science, Thammasat University, had the opportunity to visit the Elcano Royal Institute on 21 June 2024. They were welcomed by Dr. Charles Powell, Director of the Elcano Royal Institute, who gave an introduction on the Institute’s projects, activities, and publications and was briefed on ISC’s mandate and activities. The participants exchanged views on regional developments, an overview of Spain’s foreign policy and the developments in the European Union, and possible collaborations. The meeting was also attended by Ambassador Emilio de Miguel, Ambassador-at-Large for the Indo-Pacific and Director of Casa Asia in Madrid as well as Mr. Javier Parrondo, Director General of Casa Asia.
