On 27 March 2025, the International Studies Center (ISC) organised the 4^th Seminar on “Thailand’s Foreign Affairs through the People’s Lens” at Phayathai 4 Room, Eastin Grand Hotel Phayathai. At the event, Dr. Anuson Chinvanno, Director of ISC, gave a special talk on “Thailand’s Foreign Affairs: Continuity and Change”. The talk was followed by a panel discussion on “Thailand’s Foreign Affairs through the People’s Lens”. Four speakers, namely Associate Professor Dr. Jittipat Poonkham, Faculty of Political Science, Thammasat University, Dr. Ajaree Tavornmas, Partner at Access-Europe Co., Ltd., Dr. Buntoon Srethasirote, Executive Director, Good Governance for Social Development and the Environment Institute (GSEI) and Energy Regulatory Commissioner and Dr. Bank Ngamarunchot, Director, Science Technology and Innovation Policy Institute (STIPI), King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi shared their views on emerging challenges that affect Thailand’s foreign affairs and proposed recommendations. The session was moderated by Dr. Krongkwan Traitongyoo, ISC Senior Analyst, and attended by approximately 100 participants from government organisations, private sector, civil society, think tanks and educational and research institutions.
