On 26 September 2023, the Mekong Cooperation Unit, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the ISC jointly organised the ACMECS Forum on “Reflecting the Past and Pondering the Future of ACMECS”, at Meeting Room 1, International Studies Center, to mark its 20^th anniversary of the establishment of ACMECS. At the event, representatives from five ACMECS member countries, namely Cambodia, Lao PDR, Myanmar, Thailand and Vietnam discussed the development of ACMECS during the past two decades. They also suggested practical ideas on ways to build a more meaningful, sustainable and beneficial ACMECS for all member countries.
