The International Studies Center (ISC), in its capacity of Global Center for Mekong Studies (GCMS) Thailand, hosted an online meeting with its advisory members on 8 September 2023. The meeting was attended by Mr. Suriyan Vichitlekarn, Director of Mekong Institute (MI), Mr. Kobsak Duangdee, Chairperson of the Thai ACMECS Business Council, Dr. Romyen Kosaikanont, Director of the Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization Regional Centre for Higher Education and Development (SEAMEO-RIHED), Dr. Dollaya Tiantong, Deputy Director for Administrative representing Director of Institute of Asian Studies, Chulalongkorn University, Assistant Professor Dr. Narut Charoensri, Deputy Dean of Research and International Affairs, Faculty of Political Science and Public Administration, Chiang Mai University, and Dr. Visara Kraiwatanapong, Vice Dean for Academic and International Affairs, Faculty of Political Science, Ubon Ratchathani University. They exchanged views on the potential activities of GMCS Thailand in 2023-2024 as it became co-chairman with the People’s Republic of China.
