On 7 February 2022, the ISC and Bangladesh Institute of International and Strategic Studies (BIISS), led by its Director-General, Major-General Mohammad Maksudur Rahman, met online for the first time. The meeting was attended by both the Ambassador of Thailand to Bangladesh and the Ambassador of Bangladesh to Thailand. The two sides briefed each other on their respective past and future activities and agreed to continue to exchange views on current regional developments as well as to explore further areas of mutual interest.
