On 8 March 2023, the International Studies Center together with the Department of European Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, co-organised a seminar on “Thailand and the European Union Comprehensive Partnership and Cooperation Agreement (PCA): Focusing on Values and Political Issues” at the Bangkok Marriott The Surawongse Hotel. Six speakers, namely Assistant Professor Kasira Cheeppensook, Vice Dean, Faculty of Political Science, Chulalongkorn University, Ms. Somrudee Poopornanake, Deputy Director-General, Department of European Affairs, Ambassador Kitti Wasinondh, Member of the Senate, Mr. Kanapoj Bhuvaborirak from the National Security Council, Mrs. Cheraporn Siripalang Thummas from the Ministry of Justice, as well as Dr. Pimrapaat Dusadeeisariyakul, Programme Manager, Friedrich Naumann Foundation, shared their views on the issue. The seminar was attended by participants from various educational institutions, government agencies, the business sector, and the civil society.
