On 3 September 2026, the International Studies Center (ISC) hosted a seminar on "Prince Wan and Thailand's Foreign Relations" at the Narathip Auditorium. Held to commemorate the 135th anniversary of the birth of H.R.H. Prince Wan Waithayakon (Krom Muen Narathip Bongsprabandh), the event opened with a dialogue on "Remembering Prince Wan" between Dr. Tej Bunnag, Chairman of the ISC Advisory Board and Secretary-General of the Thai Red Cross Society, and Dr. Anuson Chinvanno, Director of the ISC.

⁠It was followed⁠ by a panel discussion on "Prince Wan and Thailand's Foreign Relations," featuring diplomat and author Dr. Wirach Sripong (Department of European Affairs) and the author of the book “Prince Wan and Thailand’s Foreign Relations, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Supamit Pitipat, Faculty of Political Science, Chulalongkorn University, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Peera Charoenvattananukul, Faculty of Political Science, Thammasat University, with ISC Senior Researcher Seksan Anantasirikiat serving as moderator. The panel evaluated the evolution of Thai foreign policy under⁠ Prince Wan, underscoring the vital importance of flexible diplomacy, institutional memory, and proactive engagement in navigating contemporary global uncertainties.
