On 8 December 2025, the International Studies Center (ISC), Office of Democratic Sustainovation, King Prajadhipok’s Institute (KPI) and Department of International Economic Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs co-organised a special lecture on “Reforms and Legislative Adoption Journey to OECD Membership” by Mr. František Ružička, Deputy Secretary-General of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) at the Parliament Complex. At the session, Mr. Ružička emphasised the need for Thailand to reform and improve its legal framework in line with OECD standards, particularly in the areas of good governance, transparency and effective oversight in order to support Thailand’s OECD accession process and enhance the country’s economic and institutional credibility. The event was well attended by approximately 100 participants, including Members of Parliament, government officials, KPI students, media and academia.
