On 19 July 2023, Dr. Walaya Jariyadham, ISC Fellow, welcomed Dr. Rong Ying, Vice President and Senior Research Fellow, along with Mr. Bao Zhipeng, Assistant Research Fellow, and Ms. Pang Jiayuan, Program Officer, from China Institute of International Studies (CIIS), who visited the ISC as part of their ongoing cooperation. Dr. Walaya briefed the CIIS delegation on ISC’s history and activities. They also discussed possible future collaboration between their respective Global Centers for Mekong Studies (GCMS) under the Mekong-Lancang Cooperation (MLC) framework.
