On 19 October 2022, the International Studies Center (ISC) organised an event to launch the book “Battlefield to Marketplace: Responses to Thailand’s Major Foreign Policy Change”. After Dr. Salinee Phonprapai, the author, introduced the book, discussions on “Marketplace to Partnership: Direction in Thailand’s Relations with its Neighbouring Countries” took place. Three panelists, namely Dr. Thanachate Wisaijorn from Ubon Ratchathani University, Dr. Khathaleeya Liamdee from Chulalongkorn University University, and Assistant Professor Morragotwong Phumplab from Thammasat University examined the current status and the future prospect of Thailand’s relationship with its neighbouring countries, namely Laos, Cambodia, and Viet Nam.
