On 3 November 2022, the International Studies Center and the Thai PECC Member Committee (TNCPEC) co-hosted the 29^th PECC General Meeting under the main theme of “Asia Pacific Economy Beyond Thailand APEC 2022”. At the event, Dr. Narongchai Akrasanee, TNCPEC Chair, and Ambassador Zhan Yongxin, CNCPEC and PECC Co-Chair, delivered welcoming and opening remarks respectively. The keynote speech was given by H.E. Mr. Don Pramudwinai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Thailand.

Participants, including PECC national committee members, ambassadors, members of the diplomatic corps, experts, as well as representatives from the business sector discussed the disruption affecting APEC connectivity, trends of trade and investment liberalization/restrictions of APEC economies beyond 2022, as well as APEC cooperation in enhancing the development of BCG Economy and the impact of climate change.
