On 16–17 May 2026, Dr. Narongchai Akrasanee, Chairman of the Thailand National Committee for the Pacific Economic Cooperation Council (TNCPEC), and Dr. Anuson Chinvanno, Director of the International Studies Center (ISC) and Secretary of TNCPEC, attended the 33rd PECC General Meeting and the PECC Standing Committee meeting at the Shanghai Expo Centre in Shanghai, People's Republic of China.

The International Studies Center held the first meeting of the Focus Group on “Thailand as Middle Power” at Meeting Room 1, International Studies Center on 29 April 2026.

On 20 April 2026, Assistant Professor Dr. Pongphisoot Busbarat and 60 students from the Politics and Global Studies Programme, Faculty of Political Science, Chulalongkorn University paid a visit to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

On 2 February 2026, the International Studies Center (ISC), in collaboration with the Devawongse Varopakarn Institute of Foreign Affairs (DVIFA), and the Prince Saud Al Faisal Institute for Diplomatic Studies (IDS) co-organised the 2nd Saudi Arabia-Thailand Academic Dialogue at IDS, Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The event began with opening remarks by, Mr. Thanop Panyapattanakul, Ambassador attached to the Ministry and Dr. Moshbab A. Alkahtani, Director-General of IDS.

On 26 January 2026, the International Studies Center (ISC) organised a launching event for the book “The Anglo-Siamese Negotiation 1900-1909” by Professor Emerita Dr. Thamsook Numnonda and a seminar on “Trade and Treaties EP. 2: The Path to Equality?”. At the event, Dr. Tej Bunnag, Secretary-General of Thai Red Cross Society and Chairman of ISC Advisory Board, gave a special talk on “Professor Emerita Dr. Thamsook Numnonda and her Unpublished Thesis”.
